How do I add the widget to my website?
- Login to your account here: https://app.cidewalk.com
- Click on Talkio in the top menu
- Click on GET WIDGET
- Paste this code in the header OR footer of your website
What happens when you receive a message from a customer?
People will send a text message to your Talkio number or they will use the widget on your website to reach you. All incoming messages will come to your linked/personal cell phone number as an alert that you have a new message. DO NOT REPLY FROM YOUR PHONE TO THIS MESSAGE. Click on the link in the alert message or go to your Talkio dashboard page: https://app.cidewalk.com/engagedashboard/ and reply to your messages.
Tag and group your customers.
Create customer groups or categories and tag users as needed for easy reference and followup. In your Talkio dashboard, click on "Manage Groups". Enter a group name such as: "new", "premium", "active", "high spender", or another of your choice.
Creating Groups for mass outreach.
You can create "Groups" that will link to your Talkio account so users can join your group. Users must text your group name to your Talkio number to OPT-IN to receive messages from you. You cannot add numbers to your group. To create a group click on Manage Groups from your Talkio dashboard.
How do I promote my Group and get users to join?
You will want people to join you group so you can send weekly alerts from your business, featuring new promos, deals, offers, announcements etc. Promote your Group name on your website, social media or emails by saying "Text "groupname" to "Talkio number" to join my group!" Users will automatically be added to your group listed on your Manage Group page.

Messaging Groups.
Easily send a message to your entire Group from your Talkio dashboard. Click on Manage Groups, and click "Send Message to a Group"
